We are delighted to announce our keynote speaker as Esther Rantzen, CBE. Ms Rantzen, who is perhaps best known as a presenter of the BBC television series ‘That’s Life!’, will talk about what has been called ‘one of the last big taboos’, loneliness and isolation amongst older people, and how her new charity ‘The Silver Line’ is seeking to make a difference.
With a packed programme there will be many opportunities to network and exchange ideas with fellow attendees and the evening social programme will also allow time for some fun and relaxation!
Other confirmed speakers include Gary Rycroft (Vice Chair, Private Client Section of the Law Society); Penny Jeffreys on the experience of being a lay executor in a charity estate; Stephen Cook (Editor, Third Sector magazine) on the challenges currently facing the wider charity sector; and Crispin Ellison (Legacy Link) on managing income flow.
