ILM is recruiting…
Chief Executive Officer
Full Time, permanent
The Institute of Legacy Management is the membership body for charity legacy professionals – those responsible for the successful and sensitive administration of donors’ final gifts to charitable organisations.
We support more than 600 individuals working in over 350 charities, not for profit organisations and associated professions. We are proud to support our members; champion the interests of our sector and to drive professional standards in legacy giving.
Following a period of consolidation; investment and initial growth, ILM seeks a new Chief Executive Officer to work with the Board to lead the organisation through the next stage in our development.
Are you someone who’d like to have profile and impact at a sector level? Do you seek the opportunity to shape organisational culture and influence strategy? Would you flourish in a role which provides considerable autonomy and the ability to lead on and contribute to a diverse and challenging range of business activities? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for candidates with knowledge of and commitment to our sector. You’ll have proven experience of acting as a spokesperson for your organisation; be able to demonstrate success in working and influencing at either Board or senior stakeholder level and have a proven track record in the setting, monitoring and delivery both strategic and financial targets.
As a membership organisation, we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate a commitment to high levels of customer service; evidence successful partnership working and showcase a high level of knowledge and experience in the delivery of communication and branding strategies.
In the first instance, we invite applications by CV and short covering letter, outlining how you feel you meet the requirements of the role profile and why you believe you are the best candidate for the job.
