Charity Commission to update guidance on when trustees can accept or refuse donations

The Charity Commission is set to update its guidance for charity trustees on the acceptance or refusal of donations. Ella Pudney and Roman Kubiak, experts from our Private Wealth and Legacy Disputes team, have analysed this update in light of the recent High Court decision in Butler-Sloss and Others v The Charity Commission for England and Wales [2022] EWHC 974 (Ch) concerning charity investment policies.
