About the author

Peter Jeffreys is a Partner in the Charity Legacy Team of Wilson’s LLP. He specialises in charity legacy administration and the resolution of problem estates for charities. He also acts for charities in Court of Protection cases. Peter has a special interest in dealing with cases of Probate fraud for charities.

Peter’s background in Private Client work means he is uniquely well placed to advise charities on complex and problematic Will cases. His combination of practical experience and a sensitive approach are much in demand.

Peter qualified in 1991, and joined Wilsons as a Partner from his previous firm Henman’s in 2004. He is a regular lecturer on charity-related issues and delivers courses on Wills, Probate and Charity Law for legal and other professionals.

Outside work, Peter is a keen singer, and a Deputy Lay Vicar at Salisbury Cathedral.
