Nichola Sims
Nichola is the Training Manager for ILM, having worked in the charity sector since 1993, and in the legacy sector for most of those.  Having worked for The Salvation Army and Diabetes UK as well as freelance work at numerous national and local charities, she is especially keen to share best practice in legacy management, something which she believes can be seen and learnt from charities of all sizes and causes.

Description:

This two day course led by  Nichola Sims (ILM Training Manager) will look at day to day issues that new legacy professionals will face, covering the basics of Probate Law and charity legacy management.

  • Day 1 will look at the law underpinning the work of a Legacy Professional, together with charity specific issues.
  • Day 2 will focus on working through a case file, tackling the management of an estate at your charity head on, and dealing with all the problems you’ll come up against in the course of your work.
