Digital Wills, Online Will-Writing, Covid-Era Remote Execution and Digital Assets: What UK Charity Legacy Managers Need to Prepare For in the Next 5 Years – a Bolt Burdon webinar
Digital will-writing platforms, remote witnessing during Covid, and the increasing importance of digital assets are now influencing how estates are administered in the UK. Legacy managers are already seeing estates where the will was prepared online or executed remotely, and assets include online accounts, digital wallets and social media. This session explores what is legally valid, what is emerging as a risk, and how charities should respond when digital execution and digital estate elements appear in a legacy.
ILM Members are invited to join the session online or in-person. If you would like to join in-person, please email [email protected]
Address: Providence House, Providence Place, Islington, London N1 0NT
Speakers:
Georgia Wright, Hadley Long and Olivia Pisapia (Bolt Burdon).
