This year’s ILM Annual Conference, in association with Bates Wells Braithwaite, will be held on 11th May at a new venue – 155 Bishopsgate. We are very excited about this year’s event, which we believe will offer delegates a unique blend of news and views from the world of legacies.

This year’s agenda will, as always, be diverse and of interest to all those working within the sector. Our headline sponsor Bates Wells Braithwaite will host two exciting sessions on the day. The first will cover recent legal cases as well as the Law Commission’s consultation on wills and GDPR, while the second will focus on executors – costs and communication, property legacies and refusing a legacy. Scroll down to view the full agenda, or download it here.

The day will also include our ever-popular and enlightening market update from Meg Abdy of Legacy Foresight, and a session hosted by Dying Matters. We will also be holding a panel discussion where the issue of changes to will making will be debated.

The event as a whole also offers a fantastic networking opportunity for like-minded legacy professionals to meet with each other and share their experiences.

Every year the conference is a sell-out. Last year, 250 delegates joined us for an enjoyable and thought-provoking day – and 93% of those who responded to our post-conference survey said the conference was good or excellent overall.
