As life slowly starts to return to some sort of normality, the effects of lockdown will be left for a long time, including in the contest of litigation over wills. Sarah Bolt, Senior Associate of Contested Wills, Trusts and Estates team at Hugh James will discuss some of the claims already arising as a result of the lockdown restrictions and what practitioners can expect in the months and years to come. In doing so Sarah will look at:

  1. March 2020;
  2. Changes in 2020 and 2021;
  3. Other influencing factors;
  4. Current and future trends; and
  5. Conclusion and practical steps.

Sarah Bolt is a Senior Associate in the Contested Wills, Trusts and Estates team at Hugh James. Sarah joined Hugh James in January 2021 after spending several years offshore in the British Virgin Islands.
