E & G Solicitors in Spain

Corporate Partner

Our offices in London and Tarragona work together seamlessly to provide the specialist advice and assistance that our clients need to achieve their objectives. We work throughout mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, as well as in the UK. Our knowledge and experience of Spanish business culture and Spain’s legal system is unparalleled, whatever your goal our assistance will mean that you are not hindered by cultural, linguistic, or legal complexities.

We advise registered charities in relation to gifts left to them in a Will, where the assets are situated in Spain. We are acutely aware of the issues concerning charities, particularly the need to keep costs to a minimum, and the need to quantify and minimise continuing liability for tax and estate debts.  We ensure that charities receive their inheritance with the least difficulty and delay possible.  In cases featuring a property in Spain, we can register the property in the charity name, arrange for the marketing and sale of the property on behalf of the charity, and handle the legal aspects of the transaction, including the application for a Spanish tax number (CIF) if necessary.

We can also advise on asset tracing and recovery in Spain, as well as other areas of Spanish and English law, particularly matters concerning Spanish property and planning law, and Spanish company and commercial law.
