Probate Update: BACKLOG

Representatives of ILM met with the Probate Registry, alongside colleagues from other organisations, for one of their regular stakeholder updates. We are pleased to report that they have maintained the output observed towards the end of last year.

Thanks to training and operational changes that increase the number of staff working on the front line, 84% of their staff are now able to issue grants. They are actively working toward and achieving a target of 6,500 grants issued each week. If they continue at this pace, the backlog will decrease faster than we expected.
