The IDR Network, a training support tool

Contentious probate is a niche area so training and education within this space is essential.  We can provide you and your legacy team with bespoke support and training on all things contentious probate.

Inheritance disputes are rising, with 1 in 3 people now relying on receiving inheritance to fund retirement or pay off their debts. It is no surprise that claims flow when inheritance doesn’t land as expected. Charitable legacies are more open to challenge than other, and disputes can often arise when family members contest a charitable donation in a Will when they believe they are not receiving what they are legally entitled to. They can also stem from a belief that the testator was unduly influenced when making their Will or lacked mental capacity to make a Will which, if successful, could render the entire Will invalid which can be a major loss to the charity.

Dealing with contentious probate cases can often require that extra level of expertise and support for you and your charity. As a dedicated team of contentious probate specialists with extensive experience in all areas of this field of law, we have created the IDR Network to provide our referrers and charity clients with the latest information, support and training when it comes to dealing with disputes of this kind.
