Will ILM help me keep up-to-date with changes in the Law?
Absolutely! ILM is committed to ensuring that its members have got their fingers on the pulse of relevant changes in the Law; in addition to providing legal updates, ILM also publishes a newsletter to ensure that its members have a full understanding of legal developments relating to legacy administration. Updates are also shared on ILM’s website, where we have a discussion forum for members to share their views.
How many training events does ILM run each year?
We run up to 20 training events based on legacy administration each year; these are tailored to cater for the specific levels of experience and learning needs of participants. Our flagship event is our annual conference, which presents an excellent opportunity for networking with other legacy management professionals.
Law Society CPD points are available for some of our training events and ILM members do of course get a substantial discount on all training fees!
Does ILM offer any professional qualifications?
Yes; in partnership with the University of Law, ILM offers the Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration which is now considered the bench mark qualification for legacy professionals.
Does ILM provide any resources?
We are committed to providing practical support to all those working in legacy administration/legacy management and have developed useful factsheets and ‘how to’ resources available only to our members.
